The plane trees along the Canal du Midi have become victim to coloured canker. We are supporting the voies navigables de France in the replanting of these trees.
"We have decided to help in the replanting of the Canal du Midi. Our first reason for doing so is down to our love of our adopted region. Secondly, because it is unthinkable to allow such a work of art to die. Lastly, we feel it is such an enjoyable experience to be able to wander along the canal whether by bike, boat or on foot in the shade of these century old trees." Catherine GUIDOTTI.
