MOUNTING

For wall mounted hinges, the type of support must be taken into account. The ideal supports are concrete, wood and metal profiles. If it is plaster or a porous support, special dowels are recommended which can be found in specialised hardware stores. During the initial mounting, it is recommended to lubricate the springs.

During the installation, take care not to alter the coating of the surface.

Damage caused by inappropriate use and maintenance is not covered by the GUIDOTTI warranty.

CLEANING

So as not to damage the surface coating, do not use abrasive cleaning products or those which contain acid. Do not use an abrasive sponge.

For Shiny chrome-plate (LC), Matt chrome-plate Mat (LM), 24 carat Industrial gilding 24 carats (DI), and RAL paint finishes:

In case of dirt or lime deposit, clean with soapy water, rinse with fresh water and wipe with a soft cloth.

Do not use a disinfectant product or one containing alcohol.

For the polished brass finish (LP):

It is recommended to rub the hinge, once a week, with a brass cleaning product.

MAINTENANCE

No matter what conditions in which the hinges are used, they are exposed to humidity and to cleaning products and therefore need maintenance.

The hinges must be lubricated at least twice a year.
